Since 1995 Anne-Marie Forer has been performing her Tunes-n-Tales programs at schools, libraries, bookstores, churches, festivals, birthday parties, and family venues. Her performances reflect her 20 years experience as a special education teacher, children’s librarian and musician. She has performed at the Providence Children’s Museum, RI Johnnycake Festival, RI Storytellers in Concert Festival, The Toronto Storytelling Festival, Barrington Fall Festival, Oaklawn Beach Festival, First Night in Providence and Fall River and the RI State Library Summer Reading Program.
Besides telling stories, Anne-Marie enjoys playing the guitar, fiddle, harmonica and keyboard. She is a registered Music Together® teacher and leads classes for children and their parents/caregivers at the Purple Piano, a music, art and wellness center in Smithfield RI.
Anne-Marie attended The University of Michigan and Drexel University and has lived in Rhode Island since 1978. She is a member of LANES (League for the Advancement of New England Storytelling)Connecticut Storytelling Center, National Storytelling Network, Children’s Music Network, and LittleRest Storytellers.
